Who is Carpenter Brut? His real name is Franck Hueso, but other than that, very little is known about the French electronic music producer. The anonymity is a deliberate attempt, we hear, and it is to let the music speak for itself. And Brut s style, which fuses horror film soundtracks, metal, rock, and electronic music, is such a distinct one that it certainly stands out (he has been commissioned to contribute original tracks to various soundtracks in addition to working on his own releases). Trilogy compiles three of Hueso s EPs, EP I, EP II, and EP III.
