This gorgeous music inherits the lush pads and strings from Detroit techno and the sophisticated elegance of classic New York house, all while tactfully dodging the cheese that often permeates Eurodance, Italo and other strains of Italian dance music. Drop the needle on Volume 3 opener, Resounding Seashell by Jacy or Z9 s Welcome To Paradise (Nightfly Version) on Volume 2 to see what I mean. This third installment boasts 11 of the rarest dream house tracks from some of the lesser known acts of the scene, though a few of the bigger names are present. Highlights include Optik s Illusion, with its smooth synth bass, Green Baize s tribal inflected Tramp Heart and the New York vibes of Deep Choice s Children Trip.
