Description

This design was inspired by the line drawings of the great designer artist Sol Lewitt (1928-2007), specifically an exhibition at Dia Beacon in 2008. I really like Lewitt s technique of imperfect alignment that is repeated to give you the illusion of perfection. The gradient here adds another layer of illusion to convey movement even when the platter is at rest. – PH
